Joseph J. Cocozza, Ph.D.

Vice President for Research

Dr. Cocozza is an expert in the areas of:

• children and family services
• juvenile offenders and mental health service
• and forensic evaluation

Dr. Cocozza directs The National Center for Mental Health and Juvenile Justice. He received his Ph.D. in sociology from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland in 1975. Prior to joining PRA in 1990, Dr. Cocozza served as Executive Director of the New York State Council on Children and Families, a state agency charged with improving the provision and coordination of services.
