Please join us in congratulating Matt Canuteson on his 2014 VOICE Award from SAMHSA! Presented on Aug. 13 in Los Angeles, the award honors consumer and peer leaders whose work and personal stories of resilience are educating the public about behavioral health. Matt has been employed by PRA since 2009 and is a longtime advocate for the inclusion of the youth and family voices and peer-to-peer support in local system development and service delivery. In a special blog, Editor Janet Mattox shares her thoughts on Matt’s road to recovery and what his achievements mean to her and the behavioral health community as a whole.
