This Program to Achieve Wellness webinar series explores how to develop and implement wellness programs for individuals with behavioral health conditions. The Integrating Wellness into the Community: Setting Up a Wellness Program series also offers practical guidance for care providers and community-based organizations. Wellness is a multi-dimensional concept; challenges in one area can negatively impact others, emphasizing the need for comprehensive wellness programs. This series aims to educate and equip care providers and community organizations with the knowledge and tools necessary to better support individuals with behavioral health conditions. 

Webinars 

The series is composed of the following two webinars: 

  1. Integrating Wellness into the Community: Setting Up a Wellness Program, Part I: This webinar, presented by Margaret Swarbrick, PhD, examines the development of wellness programs to engage individuals with mental and substance use disorders in their health and recovery. It highlights the importance of all-encompassing wellness programs that address the Eight Dimensions of Wellness to promote overall well-being and quality of life. 
  2. Integrating Wellness into the Community: Setting Up a Wellness Program, Part II: This webinar facilitates an open discussion among guest speakers from various mental health organizations about their wellness programs. It provides real-world examples of successful wellness programs, discussing their structure, funding, resources, and outcomes.
